Lorain Port Authority Announces New Marina Operator

The Lorain Port Authority announced Aug. 1 it has reached a 10-year agreement with Oasis Marinas to operate the Port’s Lakeside Marina.

The Annapolis, Md.-based company will make Lorain its first foothold in the Great Lakes to be called Oasis Marinas at Port Lorain.

Oasis has marinas in Maryland, Connecticut, New York, Virginia and Washington, D.C.

“Our comprehensive operations and marina management policies will set your marina apart from the competition and help you continue to meet and exceed your customer’s expectations,” the company’s website said.

The marina currently operates as Spitzer Lakeside Marina, 301 Lakeside Ave.
