CHIPPEWA COUNTY, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU) — You can see what it’s like behind the scenes at the Soo Locks with a special virtual tour.
The Virtual Visitor Center Tour will take place Thursday from 12:30-1:30 p.m.
The event is being hosted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District.
During the tour you will get an insider’s look at what goes on year round to operate and maintain the Soo Locks.
The H. Lee White was the first freighter through the locks for the 2020 navigation season.
