East Dobbins Landing Dock Wall Project On Schedule
Resources
Work continues on a multi-million dollar construction project along Erie’s bayfront.
The project started earlier this year on the shoreline immediately east of Dobbins Landing.
It’s been underway for about five months now and is funded in part by a $1.6 million grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).
When complete, the project will create a 730-foot-long dock wall and extend East Dobbins Landing by about 15 feet.
Erie Port Authority Executive Director Brenda Sandberg says construction work will wrap up by the end of construction season in November.
According to Sandberg, the project is very much on time and on budget.
